The Lawrence No.9

This Day-to-Evening jacket was inspired by the early 19th century when jacket collars were worn up and high. The velvet Lawrence Collar is cut to be worn up. The high collar can also be further enhanced with the addition of an Evening Collar and Cuff Shirt set, made of pleated luscious ivory silk satin to frame the face and add a flourish to the ends of the French cuffs.

The Lawrence jacket offers a beautiful French double cuffs, in contrasting velvet, and is embellished with beautiful geometric hand-made ornamental bands and closure buttons.

Finally, this jacket has five inverted pleats in the back skirt of the jacket -offering  beautiful movement when worn.

To further dress up this style, detachable silk satin ivory pleated shirt collar and cuffs can be added to the jacket to create a memorable and stunning look!

This jacket offers:

• A body made from 100% British wool with a mini houndstooth pattern, using ivory and black woven together, to give the jacket a rich and timeless look.
• Jacket collar and cuffs are made in black velvet.
• The Regency collar stands high at the back of the neck and wraps around to the front of the jacket.
• The collar completes as a shawl collar.
• Black vertical piping at the front and back, drawing the eye to a slim waist.
• Wide ornamental bands of black coloured passementerie on the cuffs.
• Ivory silk ornamental drops at the back, detachable when desired.
• Sparkling jet black buttons.
• We offer detachable collar and cuff sets to embellish your jacket and take it from a daytime to evening style. (Please note that the Lawrence style only offers collar and cuff accessory options for evening. If you order these, the jacket will be made with the attachments in place. This cannot be done later, so please consider your needs when you place your order.
• Each jacket will be delivered in a luxury eco giftbox, complete with garment care booklet and branded hanger.

This jacket has wonderful movement in the back with five inset pleats in the same fabric as the body of the jacket and is ready for anything, including Royal Ascot and other stylish events!

Each Belle Brummell Jacket is made-to-order in London, by our highly experienced tailors. Orders are therefore non-refundable. We offer you the option to have a personal consultation with our team, to explore the collection fully, including some customisation options. The jackets are not, however, made-to-measure where your jacket would be made exactly to your measurements. Therefore, please follow our guide to taking your measurements and check our measurement charts, as this distinction is important.

Your jacket will be tailored and dispatched within 8-10 weeks. On dispatch you will receive your tracking number and estimated delivery date.

UK deliveries are estimated to take 1-3 days via DHL and International orders are estimated to take 3-5 days via Fedex after dispatch.

We provide fully tracked Free Shipping on all orders, but please note that you will be responsible for any additional international taxes or duties required on receipt.
