This elegant Day jacket, inspired by 18th century frock coats, offers the unique Belle Brummell feminine silhouette and the same exquisite tailoring as all of our jackets. The style is simpler than the Lawrence and Gainsborough styles, with velvet bands and fluffy trims at the cuffs and a set of inverted pleats in the back of the jacket. 

This lovely jacket can be worn in a variety of Day settings: with a pencil skirt for work or day appointments, tuxedo trousers or jeans and boots on the week-end. 

To further dress up this style, detachable Day or Evening shirt collar and cuff sets can be added for further flexibility.

This jacket offers:

• A body made from 100% British wool in soft heather.
• Black velvet shawl collar and cuffs. This special velvet has no directional nape so you will never see fingerprints on it!
• Deep heather vertical piping on front and back of jacket, drawing the eye to a slim waist.
• Thick band ruff at the top and bottom of the velvet cuff.
• Back pleats of the jacket are in soft heather satin.
• Heather coloured ornamental drops at back, detachable as desired.
• Classic gold buttons with the Belle Brummell insignia, made from solid cast brass with gold gilt finish.
• We offer detachable collar and cuff sets to embellish your jacket and take it from a daytime to evening style. (Please note if you order these, the jacket will be made with the attachments in place. This cannot be done later, so please consider your needs when you place your order.)
• Each jacket will be delivered in a luxury eco giftbox, complete with garment care booklet and branded hanger.

Each Belle Brummell Jacket is made-to-order in London, by our highly experienced tailors. Orders are therefore non-refundable. We offer you the option to have a personal consultation with our team, to explore the collection fully, including some customisation options. The jackets are not, however, made-to-measure where your jacket would be made exactly to your measurements. Therefore, please follow our guide to taking your measurements and check our measurement charts, as this distinction is important.

Your jacket will be tailored and dispatched within 8-10 weeks. On dispatch you will receive your tracking number and estimated delivery date.

UK deliveries are estimated to take 1-3 days via DHL and International orders are estimated to take 3-5 days via Fedex after dispatch.

We provide fully tracked Free Shipping on all orders, but please note that you will be responsible for any additional international taxes or duties required on receipt.
